ANXIETY / PANIC ATTACKS
Anxiety is an everyday occurrence for most people. Everyone feels anxious every now and then, during hard situations like making a big decision or taking a test. However, an anxiety attack is a different story. When the anxiety overpowers the mind and becomes too much to handle, it triggers an attack where the body is rendered incapable of functioning normally. The fear and tension resist and become difficult to get rid of.
Some causes of anxiety disorders include persisting stress and tension, and other disorders like post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).
Panic attacks are something similar. Certain situations and environmental circumstances trigger fear and worry in the brain. These feelings attack suddenly and leave the body and mind in shock. Social anxiety is a disorder that is supplied by fear of social situations.
